Ever since I was a small child, the town I grew up in, Winthrop Maine, had a small, locally owned grocery store called Mister Market. I have been shopping there for 40 years when I lived in town and when I have come back to visit. This small town market changed ownership a few times, but was always under the same management, the Hachey family has either Managed it or owned it since the late 60's. Here is a video tribute to thank the Hachey family and Mister Market for years of community service and involvement.
I also have a few pictures of the space where Mister Market used to stand and the new market building in the background.
I am a Geek. That's right, a self proclaimed geek. I am into technology, science, history, gadgets and did I mention technology. That does not make me unique or strange, but, it does make me an asset to my friends, family and business (excuse me as I blow my own horn).
