My Daily Commute

Every day on my way to and from work, I get the privilege of driving through the Big Dig. The result of what happens when you spend 14.6 Billion (that's right, a B) on moving Boston's Central Artery underground. Here I am driving over the Zakim Bridge, an Asymmetrical Cable Stay bridge going over the Charles River from Cambridge / Somerville into Boston

Next comes the entrance to the Tunnel, kind of interesting with the park where the highway used to be, and the TD Bank Garden looming on the right. On the left is a giant Celtic's logo... We do LOVE our sports teams here in Boston...

Then there is the trip back through the tunnel on my way back home from work. The city looms over the entrance to the tunnel. In this picture is the Federal Reserve bank, South Station and to the left, Boston's Chinatown.
